FABULOUS!!! We stopped in for a quick lunch and had the most most wonderful experience! Fred, our server, was friendly and served us quickly without a rushed feeling as we had expressed a short time line. I ordered the Lady Bird. Perfectly spicy without being overwhelming. Bacon was crispy and the chicken was deliciously moist! The Society pickles are a mystery; HOW DO THEY DO THAT?! My husband had Layette. Perfection!!! Our only minor complaint is that the sweet potato fries were not great. The flavor was good but they were greasy and floppy. Homemade chips were very crispy and enjoyable! Good service. Fun environment. Delicious food. We’ll be back!

Delicious Lunch with Happy Hour Deals!!! I’m impressed with fantastic lunch options and happy hour deals. We enjoyed Brussels Sprouts, Pimento Fries, and the Ladybird sandwich, all bursting with flavor. The restaurant offered a great atmosphere, perfect for a casual lunch, and even welcomed kids during lunchtime.

SSS is a go to for me when I’m going to the city. They no longer have my coveted Venus burger on the menu however can still make it thankfully. The pimento cheese fries, the brussel sprouts and then the house pickles are perfection every time. Missed out on Key Lime pie this visit but did try the Key Lime Sour which did not disappoint. Elevate atmosphere without all the fuss of feeling stuffy. Definitely worth a visit if you haven’t been.

The food here is absolutely amazing! The decor on the walls looks to have been saved from years past! The staff is very friendly. Food was served very quickly and did not disappoint! Even the picky kids enjoyed the cheeseburger on the kids menu! Definitely a spot you need to hit when you are close by! Worth every second and penny!

Loved the ambience, and a pretty good menu. We tried the ladybird sandwich which was nice, but a little smoky for my personal taste. Loved the hospitality, great customer service and value for money.

The burgers were delicious. They have a good list of options to choose from. I got a spicy one with jalepeno. I highly recommend getting the fries with pimento cheese on them!! If you are not from the south and have never tried pimento cheese, you simply must. Service was great. Mixed drinks are pricey.

Waited on this place to open up for the day and man it’s delicious. I started with the French onion dip and chips, and the dip is flavorful and a huge portion to share between two people. I had the bartender Austin order whatever was his favorite sandwich and bring it to me. The Roosevelt, a winner in my book, this sandwich is overflowing with roast beef and bacon. Make sure you order the Parmesan Truffle Fries because they are on point. Covered in the right amount of oil, and a good portion of cheese makes these the best thing on the menu…so far. When in town check out Secret Sandwich Society, you won’t be disappointed.

Great sandwiches me and my friend got 2 sandwiches and the loaded pimento fries. The atmosphere was a blend of casual and upbeat cafe vibes. The pickles were especially tasty as they are there own custom made in house pickles. Overall extremely satisfied with service and the food.

Stopped for lunch on a road trip and was stunned by how very busy it was. Thought we would lose a lot of time, but we grabbed a seat at the bar and were promptly served! The Van Buren and the Truman were both excellent, will definitely stop by the next time we pass through!

Do NOT pass this place up if you’re in Richmond! Not a single complaint to be made here. The burgers are incredibly juicy and delicious. The truffle fries complimented the burgers perfectly. We loved the atmosphere and friendly service also. I’d give 10 stars if I could!
